Set in one of her haunts--the Magical Research Center--this was an unexpected log in which Dinky spontaneously let out her inner anger in a way she expected to hurt and also to illuminate. The verdict is still up in the air.

Magic Research Center
From the outside the Magic Research Center, with its magic wand and flask sign out front, looks much like any other Ponyville building. The door requires operating a latch and it automatically closes behind you. Inside, while rather smaller and simplier than a university site, the MRC is still quite spacious, and equally full of all maner of [lab equipment], projects being worked on, and things you're not sure about. There are no windows, and if you pay attention all the inner walls are covered with a material which blocks most all magic passing. Whether that's 'in' to protect the experiments, or 'out,' you're not sure. There are only the occasional loud noises or bright flashes. There are both stairs with a railing going up to an upper platform below an openable [dome] with telescopes and other gear, as well as stairs leading down to the lower level.

Snow_Bolt glances over to the door as Mirage enters and he offers her a smile, though he quickly turns his attention back to PP. The request that he is making isn't impossible...just a bit improbable, "Alright." he says to the young pony, "You are going to have to give me a second to figure out how to make that one work." he says.
<OOC> Dusk plays the super violin. It is literally the tiniest violin.
<OOC> Dinky wrinkles her nose. "It doesn't look that super."
<OOC> Dusk says, "Super small, string with super self-vibrating superstrings. It practically plays itself. (it is hard to hear)."
[FORESHADOWING???]
ProgrammerPony looks over to Mirage as well, perking up as he sees his friend. "Good evening Mirage!" he greets her with a smile. He hasn't seen her in a while, and it's nice to see a friend. He then looks to Iri, looking interested. He's as curious if Iri can actually do that, as much as he is in the end result itself.
Mirage goes over to her desk. She does wonder why Dusk hasn't looked for Snow Bolt. Or maybe Dusk has been looking and simply hasn't told her. Smiling back to Programmer, she notices Iri is deep in thought. "Um, you -are- being careful, aren't you?" she asks Programmer with a worried tone. "We do have a lot of unanswered questions just now."
Cha-chime. In walks Dinky, lugging her faithful rucksack. It's not stuffed with schoolbooks today, though. There's actually a bunch of wooden boards and dowels sticking out of the top. She sizes up what she can see from the door, letting it quietly close behind her.
Snow_Bolt has in mind exactly what he is going to do. Though he isn't sure that PP will much like the result, or even if it will be /entirely/ safe. There are very few things like this that can be considered 'safe', "Alright. You best ready yourself. This will be a bit disorientating." he says to PP. He looks back over his shoulder to Mirage's desk and shrugs, "Careful...yes. At least I think. I haven't really done this in a milenia or something.." Its not an every day sort of thing. Orange magic begins to glow around him as he preps himself.
ProgrammerPony blinks lightly at Iri's answer. It doesn't seem as certain as he'd like, but he looks to Mirage. "I'm trying to get some answers to perhaps of those questions." he tells her, then glances at the orange magic. "Oh, neat."
Dusk was out taking care of some last few things as Mirage went ahead to the Center first. He finally arrives and steps inside too, looking around at what all is going on. He steps casually over to Mirage and gives her a soft nuzzling and smile before looking back to the others. "Good day, Miss Dinky. Nice of you to drop by. Mr. Pony and Mr. Iri," he says, giving a nod.. then furrows his brow, "And justs what are we doing here? Answers, how?"
Dinky steps further in, eyes wide. "Oh, gosh. That weird body-invader thing you told me about?" she murmurs, her mane getting a bit bristly. She offloads her pack with a crunch.
Mirage is watching Programmer and Iri cautiously, and after greeting Dusk with a quick nuzzling, she decides that stepping over so her desk is between her and whatever is going to happen as Iri starts go glow is a good thing. She casually knocks her pen off the desk so she had to duck down to get it....
Iri hears Dinky call him that 'weird body invading thing' and that amuses him slightly, though at the moment he can't afford to get all that distracted by the young filly. There will be time to deal with this later, "This might hurt a bit..." he says to PP. Oh yeah. Djinn lie alot. It probably will hurt alot. Iri largely ignoring Dusk's question about what is going on. If it works they will know in a few moments. The orange light that was glowing around him begins to take shape and glow around PP, glowing steadily brighter, until it gets too bright to look at for most everypony except for Iri himself. He's a creature of fire after all. He probably should have warned PP about a great many things, but where is the fun in that.
ProgrammerPony blinks a bit. "Why would it hurt?" he inquires, but doesn't get the chance to get an answer. He looks at the orange magic around him, until he has to close his own eyes at the brightness. After a few long moments later everypony hears him yell "The magic! It burns!" His voice is changing though. "The knowledge.. too much! Too... too.. AGH!" Then a moment later, a pained "Oh, that's why." comes from the light.
Dusk smiles at Mirage's greeting prior to all the magic getting started. He nods to Dinky, "One and the same. The one that has taken Mr. Bolt." And he agrees on the side of caution. "Perhaps you might help Lady Mirage find her pen, Miss Dinky." He does magic over his goggles that used previously, before stepping closer, especially as PP starts to yell. But then he sounds less distressed, and different. Even with the goggles though it's too bright to make out more than light and shadows as he tries to see.
Mirage can see how blindingly bright the magic is just from the glare reflecting off the walls! She's not about to try peeking over the desk yet... But at least Programmer's not screaming anymore, so either he's alright or we know what happened to Snow Bolt now.
ProgrammerPony has disconnected.
Dinky looks in a panic back and forth, and then dashes over to the desk and crouches, not even looking for the pen.
Iri isn't really all that sure what is going to happen either. He hasn't tried this in a really long time, and probably he is going to be in big trouble for doing it. It most assuredly will get the attention of the folks back home, and then he'll have to answer for that, "That was fun." he says as he stops what he was doing. He takes a look at his handiwork. PP is sort of suspended in air, clearly not concious, "He's got alot to take in. Must need some time to work through it." he says with a shrug, "Oh well." He glances back over to the desk, seems its a popular spot right now.
Dusk is standing between the desk and where PP is.. Well where he's floating in place. As the light fades Dusk slips off the very dark goggles and looks directly over at what is going on. "That was.. quite some amount of magic there." He glances back to Mirage and Dinky. Well to the desk they're behind.
Mirage is indeed unharmed. It pays to be cautious! After the light goes back to normal, and she hears Dusk's voice, she peers over the top of the desk to see what's happened. She gasps! at seeing Programmer sort of hanging limp in the air but knows Dusk is much more able to deal with this than she is. Still, she slowly stands. The pony that's replaced Snow Bolt hasn't shown he's as wildly destructive as some of the palace ponies, so there's no reason to keep hiding for now.
A pony comes in as she looks in but instead of a sweet voice you hear a real deep voice as she says "Hello.. Mirage.. Dusk.."
Dinky peeks up from the desk. "Um," she says. "Is this still the djinni? Wow. What's g--" She decides to shut up and back away toward the edge of the room.
Snow_Bolt can't disagree with Dusk. It was pretty impressive. He doesn't do that sort of thing every day, "Yes it was." he says as he lifts himself off the ground to go back to floating in the air on his back. Might as well relax a bit after putting out that sort of power. He isn't that destructive indeed. Not intentionally anyway. Too much destruction gets you noticed.
Dusk looks the PP and Iri over, and gives a nod. "And now that you've done your trick, what has become or Mr. Pony?" he inquires. He sees Mirage and Dinky show themselves and gives a little smile. "Are you both okay?" They look to be. Though Dinky looks a bit panicked. Not to be unexpected.
Mirage gives a little nod to Dusk to let her know she's alright. Then a strange voice gets her attention, and she looks in the direction the voice came from. "Who's there?" she asks with a little trepidation.
Screenplay appears as she looks to her friend. "Mirage.." she says in a really deep voive as she looks to her. "I need help.."
Snow_Bolt just floats along for the time being, he isn't really all that interested in what is transpiring down below. Though he is tempted to grant just a few more wishes, "Not really all that sure." he says to Dusk, "Either I turned him into a djinn, or....you wouldn't like the other choice. I'm sure it worked. At least about 85% sure. We'll know in a few hours, or days. It depends on when it takes."
"Eighty-five percent," mutters Dinky, unbelieving. "Heard that somewhere before." She looks for the stairs.
Dusk hmmmms thoughtfull, looking over his other friend, PP. He's as dubious as Dinky as wel. He sees that there's nothing that can be done for the moment, so heads back over to Mirage and Screenplay. The stairs are in the back of the Center, some leading up to the upper loft / telescope area, and others down. He rubs against Mirage a little and looks to Screenplay, "What has happened, Lady Screenplay?"
Mirage blinks in surprise as she sees Screenplay is the source of the bass voice! "What's happened?" she asks, just as Dusk arrives to reassure her and ask Screenplay the same thing, after showing Dinky where the stairs are.
Dinky wlkas with Mirage. "You guys okay?" she asks, putting aside her lingering doubts about the matron of the center. "I know wishes are dangerous things... should I just keep out of the way?"
Screenplay ohs as she waves a hoof to her friend as she says "It's nothig serious I just got in contact with some pision joke and seems it has the same effect as Fluttershy.."
Iri can't help but overhearing Dinky's comment about wishes being dangerous things. He couldn't agree more. Just as PP found out, others over the centuries have also found out that same terrible truth. Sometimes when you get what you wish for you don't much care for the result. He floats on over toward Mirage and Dinky, "So...what do you two want?" he asks. He would assume that they might be a bit smarter than PP...probably. As for the poison joked mare, thankfully there is a simple cure for that and he has little need to be concerned about it.
Dusk ahs and nods, "So it would appear, Lady Screenplay. I do believe the Lotus sisters at the spa have a cure for it. I hear it is fairly simple. Though I am surprised it had the same effect on you as Lady Fluttershy. It generally reacts to what would worry or bother you the most, as far as physical reactions. It's not just random." He smiles to Dinky and nods, "I am well, thank you. And yes, dealing with something like this can be very dangerous," he says as Iri comes over without looking his way until after he's finished talking. He brushes to Mirage again lightly.
Mirage gives a nod to Dinky, letting her know she and Dusk are alright. "Um, just be careful for now," she replies to the filly. A look of relief washes over Mirage's expression as Screenplay explains. "Yes, they buy it from Lady Zecora," she adds to Dusk's comment about the Spa. Mirage didn't notice Iri floating over until his voice sounds close by. "Are you sure that's not Discord causing trouble?" she whispers to Dusk before tilting her ears at Iri. "Well, I would ask you where Snow Bolt is, but you might take that as a wish so nothing for me, thank you," she says with a polite smile.
Dinky nods to Mirage, but looks more than a little disconcerted to be approached by the floating glowing thing. She looks uneasily at Mirage, hoping for advice or protection of some sort. "Idunno," she allows, facing the djinni. "If I tell you what I want, am I gonna regret it?"
Screenplay ohs as she tjhen smiles, "Oh I thought they were random. If it turn my voice low then what does it meen.."
Iri turns himself over in mid air so that he can actually see the two ladies right side up. He blinks a bit at the rather cold reaction that he is getting from Mirage, "Oh come on Mirage. We have had so much fun together. You know that I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." He's probably teling the truth, though he could just as easily be making it up. One never really knows. Iri himself probably doesn't always know. He gives a shrug of his shoulders to the filly, "I'm certain that you'd find the results most exciting, but it is possible to regret it." Some have been very happy with the results, he suspects that PP will probably not be happy with the results, but that really wasn't up to him. He wanted to understand djinn magic and so he had to become one. He spares a glance to Dusk, "It's true. I am dangerous. But so are you, for a mortal anyway."
Dusk nods to Mirage about Zecora too, "It is highly effective. But then Lady Zecora is very skilled at what she does." He smiles and nuzzles Mirage just a little. Seeing Dinky's look, "My advise, is to strive hard for your goals, and not look for quick and easy ways to the ends." And indeed, wishing is very open to the subject of the one granting it, and wording can be very easy to misconstrue. And even if get exactly what you thought you wanted, it's not always the case. He smiles the Screenplay, "Well it usually means that's something that would make you uncomfortable of frustrated. Lady Fluttershy is afraid of attention and standing out. Thus the effect it had on her." And as Iri talks to him, he starts to state a dismissal but pauses and thinks. "I strive to avoid harm to other ponies and to guide them as best I can. Not just use magic for magic's sake or to cause others trouble for their greed or curiosity."
Mirage nods as she listens to Screenplay. "Well, I can take you over to the Spa if you'd like. We just don't have a bath here, or the ingredients to make the cure for you." She gives Dinky a little look. "Don't tempt him," she says softly to the filly as she starts to bargain with Iri. Then she looks to the floating ponydjinn. "Yes, we did have fun. But we thought you were Snow Bolt. You didn't really introduce yourself until later on," she says with a soft smile.
Iri is a creature that is easily bored. Which isn't all that great when there are long spans of time where you locked inside a very tiny space with little more than yourself for company. The wishes of a filly he can envision and he doubts that Dinky would come up with anything all the creative, and even if she did she seems reluctant enough, "Same difference." he says to Mirage, "We still had fun. I'm far more interesting than he is. I don't mean it as a slight its simply the truth." Though he can't help but give some sort of reaction to Dusk's comment. He lets himself fall to the floor with a crack in front of him, "Because you are the 'good' pony?" he asks before continuing, "You talk as if I've made it my mission to cause trouble and hurt ponies. I have not. I gave PP what he wanted. If others have issues with greed that is their issue. Not mine. I'm positively benign in comparison to some of my kin. You have little idea of what you are talking about."
Dinky shivers. She sets her jaw. She crouches without even realizing it. Mirage is telling her not to temptthe creature. Dusk is telling her to watch out for easy paths. And Dinky remembers all too well the incident of Mirage giving her magic she didn't know how to make her own. Yet Dinky, stubborn Dinky, contrary Dinky, takes a step forward toward the irate Iri and draws herself up as tall as she can. "You want action? You can have action. I wish I were -crazy- good at playing the violin."
Dusk hmms we could probably make due here. Put Screenplay in one of those tubes filled with the green goop and mix up the ingredients in it. But a nice relaxing soak at the spa is probably a lot more enjoyable. Dusk nods, "Good day, Lady Screenplay. I hope your voice clears up. And do be careful of more poison joke." He waves her off. He turns back to Iri, "Because it is what I choose to do. I still make mistakes, and ponies can get hurt from it. So I can not dispute your calling me dangerous. And that may all be true. I do know Mr. Bolt is not here due to you. And that something detrimental may happened to Mr. Pony from your magic as well. I had said before we have nothing against you if you would return our friend, and now friend/s/, unharmed. But you refuse to do so. So that is where my problem is. And I can agree, you are not overly malevolent and even personable. But even with the best of attentions, being the best 'good pony,' giving other ponies all they desire, even with the best care and caution, does not turn out well for them in the long run."
Mirage gives a sad shake of her head to Screenplay. "Yes, I'm sorry. We try not to take any business from the Spa," she explains as Screenplay turns to go. "See you later. And I guess your pretty voice is what the poison joke decided to have fun with." Mirage waves to Screenplay as the pegasus leaves for the Spa. "Well, yes we did have fun," she has to admit to Iri. "But Snow Bolt is fun, too. You don't have to have magic flying all about to be enjoyable company. No slight intended," she adds with a dip of her head. Then she looks wide-eyed at Dinky as she takes Iri up on his challenge. "No, don't!" Mirage says as she tries to intervene, too late to change anything if she knows how Iri thinks.
Iri sighs. Good grief, this again, "I told you I don't remember where I put him. I'm immortal not omniscient and I'd just been woken up. I was a bit groggy. Sue me." is his response to the first accusation. As for the second, PP really wanted to try it and so he gave him a shot. "PP's situation will either work out for him or it won't. He wanted to, and I warned him more than I warn others. For instance...." he says before an orange glow briefly surrounds Dinky. Wish granted, "There you go kid...good luck with it." After all how much negative can come from playing an instrument? Not much in his mind, "...So yeah."
Dinky winces hard at the touch of the orange glow. She stands up on her rear hooves... and then tumbles backwards. But she seems unharmed. She rolls over and gets to her hooves. "Thanks," she says in a low, almost raspy voice. She grins wickedly and raises one foreleg, seesawing it back and forth as if airbowing an air instrument. She smirks at Mirage. "Little late!" she teases.
Dusk nods to Mirage as she sees Screenplay off. And he hears Dinky's wish as well, but having already heard it, it's too late to stop it. Dusk eases Mirage a step back as the orange magic takes hold of Dinky. As she settles again he looks, "Are you okay, Miss Dinky?" He turns back to Iri and nods, "That you did say, and even if I accept that and that it's not just a ploy, it still doesn't mean that recovering our friend isn't out first priority. As fun and even nice you could be, taking care of our friend is more important than all of that, Mr. Iri. Hopefully you could understand that. And hopefully assist, if you really mean what you say. I'm sure you would at least have some idea of the sort of place he might be, or be able to help us track him down. Perhaps we could all go on a mission to recover him, if needed."
Iri gives a bit of a yawn. He's had a bit of commotion here today and while he can't exactly be 'tired' he is a bit bored with it and would much rather pop off and do something else at the moment. Iri really doesn't have any 'friends' at least not in the way these ponies do. Maybe Moonbeam, "Look I'll be honest with you. When I got out I really didn't have much of a clue what was going on. Your buddy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I bounced around through like 12 different places in 8 different dimensions in the first few minutes. I know that makes no sense, but trust me I did it. Its a bit vague ok. Seriously...for the first few minutes I thought I was Snow Bolt. I don't think you can fully appreciate what thats like. So yeah. I'm gonna go now. I've got a few things I want to do. I'll be back later." He spares a parting glance to Dinky who appears to be more or less fine, if not she'll have to figure it out himself. For the moment he has to depart and make sure that what he did here to depart and make sure that what he did here today hasn't been noticed. What he did to PP is bound to set off a few waves and if he can alter them before they get too far it would do him the world of good. A group of djinn descending on Ponyville to see what is going on and check up wouldn't be good for him or for anyone else in town really. With that he shoots up through the ceiling of the center and is gone, for the moment.
Dinky works her mouth as if to respond, but doesn't have time to get a word in edgewise. She watches starkly as the being vanishes... through the ceiling. Oh gosh. Her head remains tilted up for some time.
Dusk listens to Iri and nods as he describe all the different things. And Dusk has a feeling Iri is may well be telling the thruth, or mostly so. But it still doesn't change the one unchangeable fact that they must get their friend back. "Even given all that, we must still get our friend Mr. Bolt back. With or without your help." But then the djinn seems to have other things to do, and is gone before they can talk further about it. Dusk shakes his head. He turns back to Dinky. "That was rather reckless, Miss Dinky. I hope it doesn't turn out poorly for you. But if it should, don't feel you can't come for help here, even if we had asked you not to do it. You're still a friend." He looks Dinky over for any obvious side affects, normal or magic.
Dinky holds her lower lip under her upper one, trying to size up what she's done. She looks over to Dusk. "You're a really good guy," she says, without warmth. She seems more or less normal on the surface. "I know it was dumb. But you only get so many chances to make a difference. And..." It's hard for her to describe what she was thinking. She leaps nearly in place. "Sometimes you just have to pounce! You know?" Magically, yes, she seems imbued. But she is a unicorn.
Dusk nods back to Dinky, "Actually I do have an idea. I have had to take many risks in my exploration and research. Sometimes only in hopes that there might be something of gain for it. And that was mainly just a risk to myself, and usually make a rather informed choice for that risk. This sees it would only affect you too, so it is your own choice. It is why I'm not that upset. But.. What if what you wished for, for example, makes you actually 'crazy' as you said in your wish, when you play the violin? And if in that state you cause harm to others? That is just an example of things you need to consider when making a wish with creature such as this. Fortunately Mr. Iri does not seem as bent on harming others as some of his type are. But it is still far from safe. Which I figure you know."
Dinky stands with her mouth open. "Unnngh," she says. "Okay. Yeah, I guess that wasn't the best wording in the world, was it?" She twitches. "Yeah, I mean, if I'd had an hour to think about it, I might've done different. But you like testing things, right?" She saws her empty hoof back and forth. "Consider me your maze chinchilla. I hope PP gets better, but at least my wish wasn't so out there. Just gonna be good at something I don't even have to do, you know? Save some time and money. If it's too much like cheating, I won't play. I'm fine with that."
PUB >> Dusk says, "I played two games with Rarity, and actually won! My first time playing too. I asked if she was going easy on me, but she said no. But she was playing Twilight first, which she said that's just as good as she is with her. And the second game she played AJ. I'm guessing if she played Rarity she'd have won. So was nice of her to play and give me a chance. :-)"
Dusk gives a little smirk and nods, "No, not the best wording. But on the bright side, you don't appear to be crazy at this time, which the wish could well have done too." He nods, "I do experiment, but I don't believe we have to go as far as treating you like a lab animal." He grins, knowing that wasn't quite what you meant anyways. "But if it truly works, as long as you're not using it to win contests or such, I don't believe there is any 'cheating' to worry over. But your point is taken. It is something you can choose to not do. Assuming it doesn't work along the lines of the Cutie Pox." He grins again. He magics up a simple violin and bow, and hovers them over to you.
Dinky shrugs. "You want to experiment on me, feel free. It'd be a thing. Get me out of school, music lessons, endless colts trying to get on my good side and then breaking down and yelling at me." She's about to go on, but how about that? He's got a violin right there. "Right now? Okay, sure. Can't say I don't have the itch." Octavia's taught her how to hold the thing in the one lesson she's had. She knows the basic basics. Dinky returns down the stairs, takes a stance on the floor of the Magical Research Center not far from Programmer Pony, and shoves the bow against the strings. It hasn't been rosined in a while, so there's a certain creak to the notes that follow, but Dinky quickly finds a way to make that work. She's quickly heaving breaths through her nostrils, her face tight and fierce, and that instrument is playing something wickedly dark and active, like the pistons in the mind of a supervillain, churning and turning and spinning and grinning.
Dusk listens and nods as you explain all those wonderful things you might like to avoid. He nods at your question, "Yes, right now. We might as well see if there is anything to it." He barely winces outwardly at the initial creaks, but perks up as you move past that and start to play in earnest. He's heard many a professional player, and what he hears you play is quite remarkable. And you are not just magically repeating some other performance, as he can tell. But seems something quite unique and.. personal. As if he is seeing into you through the music. And it isn't even a high end instrument. He watches and listens. But he also watches you, and sees how you're doing. If it is taxing you, or affecting you magically either.
<OOC> Dinky oops. Can we retcon this to be the cello, not the violin? I forgot--Dinky's lesson was on the cello.
<OOC> Dusk chuckles, "See you already messed up the wish. Now it's going to be a bass fish. ;-)"
<OOC> You say, "Is that a no? Fine."
<OOC> Dusk says, "But sure, I don't mind! Make sure you check with Snow. I assume he will go with it. But he could be a stickler and say you're stuck with your wish. :-)"
<OOC> Dusk imagines Dinky lugging the cello around too. :-)
<OOC> You say, "It ain't easy. I'll stick with the violin."
Dinky seems to be getting -really-into it. She shakes and sizzles with the bow, taking an even wider two-legged stance and propping herself up with her little tail. She needs more leverage with the base of the violin against her neck. It seems clear, if Dusk is sensitive to the flow of magic, that a lot of it is moving in her, and through the instrument, too. The tune is original and changing, getting higher and lower in turns, as if two melodies are growing from it. Dinky's eyes are getting brighter, but more distant at the same time.
Dusk is sensitive, and is watching closely. He first off makes sure it isn't something becoming too taxing, or appearing to be harmful. Physically or magically. But he's also not missing all the finesse of the playing, and how it changes and flows. He's not a professional himself, but he has a decent ear, following where the music flows. It is a rather impressive work, to say the least.
It does seem too taxing, yes. Dinky is getting tired, her breathing labored. Her heartbeat can almost be heard. She starts taking tiny controlled pauses between notes, like the hesitance of the criminal mastermind as her evil plans come close to fruition and the law's nsoe grows too close. She backs against the wall, still playing fervently.
Dusk keeps listening and watching intently. Very much wanting to hear where the music is wanting to go, he still errors on the side of caution. He first applauds loudly enough for you to clearly hear, "Bravo!" to see if you will come out of it and stop on your own. If that doesn't work in short order, he puts a hoof gently to your shoulder, noting preparing for possible reactions.
Dinky glares at the Bravo, her notes growing more passionate and her face darker. When Dusk touches her, she lashes out, jerking and elbowing him. This stops her playing, and she jerks her front legs several times in place, almost touching the strings but not quite. Then she lets her breathing slowly fade, her nostril flaring and calming. She uncoordinatedly sets down the violin and bow, and falls, exhausted, to all fours. Standing there. Breathing. Letting her heart rate drop.
Dusk makes sure not to overreact, not fighting it when you try lashing out, but rather avoiding it. Then the music stops and so do you. He takes a seat besides you, and makes sure you're okay, but mostly just lets you take your time and catch your breath and calm down. "Wow.. That was something amazing, Miss Dinky." He holds off asking any questions just yet.
Dinky remains focused forward a moment. Then she looks over at Dusk. "Yeah. Yeah, it was, wasn't it?" Her mouth twitches, just a tiny curl above a flat line. She remains turned toward Dusk for a few seconds, letting it sink in. Then she shrugs. "So yeah, I don't see any problems. Kick-#&@$%. Thanks for letting me borrow the violin." And, leaving the violin against the wall, she heads for the door.
Dusk nods and sees you finally settle back to pretty much normal again, so that's good. He doesn't let you go quite so quick though. "Yes, you were amazing, Miss Dinky. However you appeared unable to stop. If you play anymore, please make sure you have somepony there that can watch out for you. Perhaps practice playing just part of a song and stopping on your own. Of course you can practice here as you like. And yes, you're welcome." He grins, and gives a pat.
Dinky slowly looks back over her shoulder, halfway to the door. She gives Dusk a funny look. "Yeah. Sure. Practice stopping. I'll just go ahead and practice -not- rocking the house, while I'm at it." She gives him an odd, acerbic wink, and trots out the door. What has this filly done now?
Dusk shakes his head and calls after her, "I mean it." He has his worries. He thinks the magic may be driving you too hard. He may need to let some others know about what has happened so they can keep an eye on you too. But for now there's not much more to do about it for the might. He picks up the violin and magics it back away.
<OOC> You say, "And that... is an interesting development."
<OOC> You say, "Thanks for playing host, Dusk!"
<OOC> Dusk grins and nods, "Quite welcome, Dinky! I hope it turns out well. Or at least fun. ;-)"
<OOC> Dusk hugs and should be off to bed too. "Good night and thanks for the RP!"
Dusk has disconnected.

[ Players: ProgrammerPony, Mirage, Dusk, Dynamite_Rave, Snow_Bolt ]

<OOC> Dusk hugs and should be off to bed too. "Good night and thanks for the RP!"
Dusk has disconnected.
